Strict Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI

1. Policy Overview

Qubahan Techno Journal, published by Qubahan Publisher, enforces a zero-tolerance policy on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) tools. The journal strictly prohibits AI involvement in all stages of academic work, including manuscript preparation, submission, peer review, editorial decision-making, production, and publication.

This policy reflects Qubahan Publisher’s commitment to safeguarding academic honesty, human authorship, and the integrity of the scholarly record.

2. Complete Prohibition of AI Use

Under Qubahan Publisher’s ethical standards, authors, reviewers, and editors are strictly forbidden from using AI or GenAI tools for any purpose, including:

  • Writing or revising text

  • Generating ideas, hypotheses, or conceptual frameworks

  • Drafting abstracts, summaries, or keywords

  • Creating or modifying figures, tables, or images

  • Producing, altering, or analyzing data

  • Formatting or generating references

  • Translating or paraphrasing content

  • Editing language or grammar

  • Assisting with peer review reports

  • Screening manuscripts using AI models

No form of AI-generated or AI-modified content is permitted.

3. Authorship and Accountability

Qubahan Publisher requires that all scholarly work be entirely human-generated. Authors must guarantee that:

  • The manuscript’s intellectual content originates solely from human effort

  • No AI tools were used to draft, rewrite, edit, translate, visualize, or analyze any component

  • All data, text, graphics, and interpretations are human-produced

AI tools cannot meet authorship requirements and must not contribute to the manuscript in any capacity.

4. Mandatory Disclosure Statement

Because Qubahan Publisher prohibits any AI involvement, all submissions must include the following declaration:

Required Statement:
“No Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Generative AI tools were used in the preparation, writing, analysis, visualization, or revision of this manuscript. All content is entirely the work of the human authors.”

Submissions lacking this statement will be returned to the authors without review.

5. Verification and Screening Procedures

To uphold Qubahan Publisher’s strict policy, manuscripts may be subject to:

  • Expert human evaluation

  • Authorship-consistency and text-forensic checks

  • Verification of original research notes, drafts, and datasets

  • Direct queries to authors

If AI involvement is suspected, authors may be required to:

  • Provide raw data or analysis scripts

  • Submit earlier manuscript drafts

  • Describe their writing and research workflow

Failure to comply leads to immediate rejection.

6. Consequences for Violations

Any violation of Qubahan Publisher’s AI prohibition policy—whether intentional or accidental—will result in:

  • Automatic rejection of the manuscript

  • Retraction of articles already published

  • Permanent blacklisting of the author(s) from Qubahan Publisher journals

  • Formal notification to affiliated institutions, funders, or ethics bodies

  • Removal from editorial or reviewer positions, if applicable

These actions comply with COPE misconduct procedures and Qubahan Publisher’s ethical framework.

7. Peer Review Restrictions

Reviewers for Qubahan Techno Journal must also adhere to the no-AI rule, meaning:

  • AI tools may not be used to summarize, analyze, or comment on manuscripts

  • Confidential manuscript content must not be uploaded to AI systems

  • Review reports must be written entirely by the reviewer

Violations may result in suspension from Qubahan Publisher’s reviewer database.

8. Editorial Office Compliance

All editorial activities within Qubahan Publisher—screening, decision-making, editing, and production—must be performed without AI. Editorial staff may not use AI to generate communication, decisions, edits, or content.

Only human judgment is permitted at every stage.

9. Policy Maintenance

This policy will be periodically reviewed by Qubahan Publisher; however, the core principle remains unchanged:
AI and Generative AI are strictly prohibited in all Qubahan Academic Journal processes.
