Abstract

The present article is devoted to the issues of investment in the construction sector of the state economy. The volumes of investments in some sectors are increasing, while in others they depend on the conditions of investment favourable conditions created by the state. It is noted that in order to reduce the dependence of the national economy on the conjuncture and changes in the external environment, it is advisable to implement an innovative model of national development. The aim of the research is to form a holistic concept of theoretical representations of the socio-economic space of the country and regions, as well as to use this concept as a methodological basis for the development of mechanisms of state management and professional self-regulation of investment and construction activities in the context of territorial development processes. The originality of the study is due to the fact that in the development of theoretical and methodological approaches and substantiation of practical recommendations to ensure balanced economic growth of the construction industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the features of the Kazakh model of socially-oriented economy in sustainable development. Research results: the results of conceptual development of theoretical and methodological foundations of investment and construction activity management in modern economy are presented for discussion. The decisions made on the basis of scientific research, modern resource-saving and energy-saving technologies became the foundation. At the same time, the study decomposes investment activity and ranks it according to the criteria: high, medium, low levels of investment activity in the sphere of construction and production of construction materials.
